Baby Wing begonias combine excellent performance for our area with easy care, a tough combination to beat. Our summer heat doesn’t faze them, and they tolerate stress well. They will hold up in full sun but really prefer a little afternoon shade once we get into the hottest part of the summer. Water about every two to three days until they root in- maybe a couple of weeks-and then they are ok to go longer between waterings. They actually prefer to be grown on the dry side rather than being overwatered. Baby Wings were designated Louisiana Super Plants due to stellar performance in the LSU Trial Gardens in 2012.
