Exposure: sun to pt shade
Bloom season: mid-spring to early summer
Plant habit: mounded, compact, neat
Characteristics: attractive to butterflies
Uses: beds, accents, mixed containers

An early to mid-spring bloomer that will not be fazed by the intermittent early-season cool snaps we experience here in Alabama. Plant in a spot where it has full sun early then gets some protection from summer heat as trees leaf out. After the initial flush of blooms fades, cut back by about half to encourage new growth and repeat bloom. Will perform best in the cooler times of the year and rest in the summer.
