The Sonnet series is medium-height and adds an upright, linear texture to fall and winter beds. Snaps will bloom a bit in fall, take a break in the coldest part of winter, and then come on like gangbusters and bloom beautifully in the spring, often lasting until late May and early June. Feed every 3 weeks or so during the colder months with a winter fertilizer so they will have energy for their growth spurt. “Speedy” varieties are less sensitive to daylength and may bloom a little earlier than regular Sonnets. Excellent for cut flowers.
